Together for Good: Playing basketball with Special Olympics athletes

On February 6th, we had the privilege of hosting a special basketball event that brought together our colleagues and athletes from the Special Olympics for a friendly game dedicated to inclusion, teamwork and the joy of playing together.

The court was shared in a truly unique way, with two simultaneous games taking place side by side. Mixed teams of colleagues and Special Olympics athletes played together, rotated positions and supported one another throughout the matches. The format encouraged participation, collaboration and connection, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to contribute and enjoy the experience.

Members of our internal basketball team stepped forward to help organize the event and lead by example on the day. At the same time, colleagues from across the company joined in, reinforcing that this initiative was not about competition, but about unity and shared purpose.

What stood out most was the atmosphere. Every pass was met with encouragement. Every basket was celebrated collectively. Every smile reflected the spirit of inclusion that defined the day. The energy on the court was a powerful reminder that sport has the ability to break down barriers, build confidence and create meaningful bonds.

This event was more than a game. It was a reflection of our values in action. By opening the court to collaboration and shared experience, we celebrated diversity, strengthened team spirit and reaffirmed our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
